Serene Vault does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to:

• Encryption keys
• Encrypted files
• Unencrypted files
• File contents
• Folder contents
• Personal documents processed by the Software

Because all cryptographic operations occur locally on your device, TranquilPrivacy™ cannot access your protected data.

4. Encryption and Security

Serene Vault uses modern cryptographic standards to protect user data.

• AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption
• Argon2id password-based key derivation

Encryption keys are derived locally from your password and never transmitted to TranquilPrivacy™.

Because passwords are never collected or stored, forgotten passwords cannot be recovered.

5. Analytics and Telemetry

Serene Vault does not collect:

• Analytics
• Usage statistics
• Behavioral tracking data
• Advertising identifiers
• Telemetry data

The Software does not track how you use your files or how you use the Software.

6. Software Updates

If you choose to check for updates, the Software may connect to official update servers.

Update requests are used solely to determine whether a newer version is available.

7. Third-Party Components

Serene Vault includes third-party open source libraries and dependencies.

These components remain subject to their own license terms.

8. Data Retention

TranquilPrivacy™ does not store user files, passwords, or encryption keys.

As a result, there is generally no user vault data retained by TranquilPrivacy™.
